Spinosaurus vs Indominus (Fight clip preview only) JurassicRage

So for a while now, I've been wanting to do a commentary of some type. That's as far as I've gotten when it comes to something being for sure lol. But, I do have an idea at what it might be. Now, let's dive in

So before Predalian5 was deleted, I wanted to try streaming. One of the main ideas was a pre show. I would stream with another animator (I would feature different animators each time, but a reccuring character wouldn't be so bad lol) and just kind of talk about the fight. For example. Let's say I was going to do a Tyrannosaurus vs Tyrannotitan. Now, I would call someone in (let's say alp for an example) and I would just kind of ask some questions like: Who do you think would be a better fighter? who's stronger? who's quicker? more durable? That kind of stuff. I would sit there and debate with whoever was featured in that episodes pre show. I would think doing it 2 or 3 days before the video's release would be interesting. Not a week lol, I don't think I'd be able to hold it back that much. But anyway, that's just ONE of the ideas for CoffeeLobby. Another idea was I would just kind of do "free thoughts" on there and I'd just kind of talk about things, not just random things. Obviously related to my channel. For example. I want to address my "slow animation" because that's something I hear about everyday. People always ask me about it and I always give short answers (Because of the limitations of a comment and because not everyone will see it) but just so all my consistent viewers know. Another topic on free thoughts could be why I choose certain winners. I'm sure people would be interested in knowing how and why I choose a Dinosaur to win.

Again, this is just an idea right now. I'm not sure about actually doing this or not. My problem is... will people watch it? I mean. I know some people will but will this be a thing? maybe. Personally I don't see any downside to this. Even if a little bit of people watch, that's still more viewership for me. Especially since I need those more than ever now since restarting my channel. (I'm going to bounce back to the last paragraph because I just had this idea while typing in the last sentence lol. One video I for sure want to do is address what happened to my previous channel and I will make it somewhat personal. I'm going to call out BentPixels for their shit and I'm going to give advice about whether you should network or not) so yeah. I'm going to introduce more segments as the channel goes on. So far we have Jurassic Rage (which might not be there anymore) Making of, Random Art, and the Venatosaurus shortsodes (still trying to come up with a better name btw) and I will soon be adding 2 new major segments, which, if you've seen my last post, you know what they are already

This will be a thing. I know it will. I don't know when, but I will be doing commentary soon. I already have someone on board, which is Rexog. Great guy, one of my buddies, and he's going to be the first person on this new segment, so be sure to look out for that

No more Jurassic Rage?

So. I have no idea where this is going. I mean... This is just, kinda me thinking out loud... or finding a way to... express myself?  how I feel? anyway. So lately I've been thinking. Ever since my Predalian5 channel was deleted, I have to find a way... to get my audience back. Because just one of my videos (before my channel was deleted) had over 5 million views, and it was my Sub Special video. My videos involving Jurassic Rage will... most likely never hit that... type of viewer ship ever again. Just to be honest with myself, and you as one of my viewers. So... with that said. I decided I was, going to try and do something about it. Ever since near the end of the last year, around November. I've been coming up with some ideas. Well, okay. One of them I've been thinking about for awhile now. Which is a story. If you've read my blog at all, I've been calling it a Cinematic. Which, by the way. I'm going to go a little off topic here, but uh, I had this story I wanted to do. But I had no real motivation. It was really just an idea I wanted to do. A small story, then. My buddy Alp. Made a contest. Which I decided would be a perfect opportunity for not only possibly winning, but to get my newer channel attention again. But, I didn't make the end date, and I delayed the results. Which I have apologized to alp for, especially because of the backlash he got. Again, my fault and I have told him I'm sorry.

So anyway. That's kind of where my story idea come from. But another idea I had was. Kind of a "Stick Figures on Crack" Idea. Which I'm sure most of you are familiar with. So I started production on both projects. My First Cinematic is almost done, it's about... a little over 12 minutes at the moment of... whatever this is. This post, and I have the first few minutes of DinoMayhem, which is my version of Stick Figures on Crack. I have tested both these projects with small groups and each turned back with a positive result, and if you are apart of my community, you have most likely seen the first bit of DinoMayhem. So what does this all have to do with Jurassic Rage? well... based on these projects, I probably won't return to it.... Yeah. I'm gunna go ahead and let that sink in. Because... I hate to sound like I'm sure of myself, mainly because I don't know for sure, what the response will be. But I'm willing to bet that these 2 things will be a hit. DinoMayhem will be a hit, my first cinematic will be a hit... but to be honest, even if my Cinematic isn't. I can still confidently put my money on DinoMayhem. But, also why I believe I won't go back to Jurassic Rage is I have future projects planned based on these other 2 projects. There will be an episode 2 of DinoMayhem, I will do more stories, and.... I'm sorry, but. I had to face the music, and now you do. Fights don't attract attention anymore. They used to be a hit, and now they aren't. People aren't noticing these things. My most viewed fight currently is my oldest one, Vastatosaurus vs Spinosaurus. The others aren't doing so well...

So... yeah. I don't know. I'm still going to finish the current fights I'm working on, but. That's probably going be it. DinoMayhem and my other projects are going to take over.... most likely anyway. Thanks for listening to my little ramble there, and have a good one.

Cinematic update

So now I am sitting at 10 minutes and 10 seconds... I must say. This is starting to look good. I am so freaking close to getting this thing done. I can't wait! On a side note: I'll be working on both animations for now. I know I'll finish Spinosaurus vs Indominus faster, but it'll come slower as a result of doing this

Jurassic Rage!!! Indominus Rex vs Spinosaurus

So when I announce the contest, I want people to WANT these sticks. Which I will call the ZETA pack. I was going to call it the "Beta pack" but lets be honest... Zeta sounds cooler... AHA HA! Anyway: So, I will animate these 2 having a fight, and people will probably want them. I mean... they probably wanted them anyway, but this will add to the hype. So after the fight is over, I will plug in the contest, and the community. The reason I made this contest is actually solely for the community. The fact that this contest is based on co-operation with other members makes it the perfect way to get people interested. I was talking to a great friend of mine MatromX (which, by the way. The NICEST guy ever) wanted to promote the community... and I agree! so this is not only a plug for the community, but for the contest. I actually originally wanted to promote season 2's new stick figures too. But I feel like that'd make these look like shit. So I made it as a teaser

New Channel... What does this mean?

I want to try do other things on YT. I mean, I will always do Dinosaur fights. The form might change every now and then. Who knows where Jurassic Rage will go? or if I'll even keep that name

Anyway: I made this channel because I want to make more content. In case you can't tell, yes. It'll still be Dinosaur stuff. I want to do "list" type of videos. Like "Things you didn't know about Spinosaurus" or about Tyrannosaurus. I'm sure most of you Dinosaur Enthusiasts already know most stuff, like Tyrannosaurus's incredible eyesight. But the regular info in the medium probably wouldn't know about that stuff. So in a "list format" type of video, I hope to bring that info to the average TY viewer

JURASSIC RAGE AFTERMATH Spinosaurus vs Deinosuchus... Spinosaurus won... thoughts?

AHA HA! Well. While I was supposed to be working on my cinematic I unintentionally finished this fight. I take breaks from my cinematic every now and then while animating it because it gets EXHAUSTING sometimes. So I animate other things. The hilarious part about this animation is I plugged 2 animations together. The Part where Spinosaurus was eating Deinosuchus was just me testing out some sprites. If you look at "Dinosaur pivoting forum" by a friend called "Theropod Entertainment" you'll see in of my threads I made an eat test

If you noticed, Spinosaurus was brighter in the second half, and Deinosuchus switched which way his head was facing. He was the opposite of where Spinosaurus was and then after the fade out, his head was facing Spinosaurus. The reason I finished it was I decided to edit the eat test, where I had to delete all the sprites, change the BG and change the color of Deinosuchus. After I did that I made the rest of the eating and animated the roar. Then I decided "Might as well finish" and BOOM. There it is. Aha ha!

Also. Well... Spinosaurus won... interesting huh? I've said many times that I DO NOT hate Spinosaurus. Especially since I made a special about the life cycle

(Off topic paragraph: I WILL animate more cinematic shorts after the one I currently have. I even have a collaboration planned for one of them [I won't say who yet. But he's talented in the water region for a hint] so with that being said, I think after my first 2 come out, I will fully animate a Life cycle. Not panning shots, actual animation. Probably because I wanted to tell more but was very limited on time lol. So stay tuned for that!)

I am interested to see the response this video gets. I know my Spinosaurus videos have the highest views on my channel. But will making him give an even bigger response? if so I might include him more lol. On another note however: if this is the case (Spino vid exploding = more videos) the positive response of him winning has nothing to do with this next sentence: I think Spinosaurus will win more of his fights. I know, I know. Looks fishy right? but no. If you take a look at the blog, a good few posts back I said he'd win against Carcharodontosaurus in the next battle (Which I forgot to animate LOL [although the odd thing is I never even made a set up fight {a set up fight by the way is I have them standing there but nothing animated yet |damn, all these brackets AHA HA| which I normally do when planning a fight} if I HAD made a set up fight I probably would have done it... although now that I think about it there are about 5 fights that were set up and simply forgotten about... so maybe not] I sometimes continue older one by the way.. actually this fight was continued... and embarrassingly, this was my "200 subscriber special" when I was still using Predalian5. I only had animated the bite and the throw. The close up is where I continued. Idk if you noticed that) so yeah, if you're going to assume I'd make Spinosaurus win because of the views... you're wrong. While I'm sure you'd like to very much make that the case, the chances are just so remote, it's not even worth seriously considering. I mean, he'll still lose. Yes, but giving him a chance it worth the try.

Speaking of the response: I want to know if people will dislike the video even though he won. I already had a comment saying (and I quote) "Why Df did spino win i wan't him to lose i'm a spino hater" you're welcome to interpret that as you may, troll or not. It represents the fans way of dividing in half. People are always split about the winner. It gets annoying after a while but you learn to ignore it. So far it's gotten positive reviews. Just waiten' on those haters. LOL

I must say, when I was sounding I found I made Spinosaurus a beast XD Running all over the place, attacking without giving a chance of recovery, he was on the ball this round LMAO. Even with my slower style Spinosaurus looked faster than I am normally comfortable with. It worked here for some reason... bah! I won't complain about it. It was nice and smooth. Even if I thought it looked a little choppy
