When people look at animations online there is often a huge crowd of complaining. Yes, I know. Some are just plain funny looking, or a bad frame looked weird. But I think people don't realise how hard animating is. Especially when they have no experience
at all. It looks easy when you see someone else do it. But it's a whole different story when you're holding the mouse.
Any idiot can figure out animating if they try... and when I say that I don't mean 2 or 3 tries. It's not easy to learn something. In some cases yes, It is. We've all used wheel trainers at one point in our lives. Most of us anyway. Back on topic: It takes time to animate. Even if it doesn't look like it'd be hard. A perfect example would be the screen shot above. Suuuuurreee... Stick figures. No problem! Right? Not really. It took me years to figure out how the basics work, and I'm not even that great in my opinion. My fans may say I am. They could be right. But in my mind I always remind myself of this phrase. "There's always room for improvement"
Despite those reasons, I personally feel it's everyone else's problem they look bad. Due to high expectations. That's one thing that particularly ruins things for you when you go watch a movie, or when you watch an anime, or when you go to a restaurant. You expected too much. This scenario always makes me laugh because that's how the majority of people feel. "I hate myself but I also feel like I'm better than people" Now I know there aren't people that think like that. I'm not saying that EVERYONE thinks it. Most people do. I know a friend that admitted it once. So I think people need to stop and think "Is this being done for free?" Not everyone has accessibility to Anime Programs, or just mainstream products like Photoshop. Sure, You could just download it. But that's illegal. (Rofl)
So this bounces back to when people over react to a animation made by some guy on his regular computer with no production team what so ever. Just a small community of other animators willing to help each other out.
